Woodland Wardens

I’ve never really been one for Oracle decks much preferring the know orderliness of the traditional tarot deck no matter how untraditional it was.

But the art work of the Woodland Wardens deck from Jessica Roux really appealed to me.

There is something of the medieval, something of Arthur Rackham, and something of folklore all mixed up together in this beautifully illustrated deck of cards.

I’ve only bought this deck a couple of days ago so still haven’t done much with it but I’m looking forward to giving it a play with.

The cards I’ve already fallen in love with are ‘The Cat and Lavender’, ‘The Hare and Oak’, and ‘The Fox and Ivy’
